The project specifically targeted 74 homes within Adra’s housing portfolio, focusing on enhancing energy efficiency through a series of retrofit measures. The primary interventions included funding work that was to be carried out using a ‘fabric first’ approach; External Wall Insulation, Intelligent Energy Systems, Doors and Windows that would contribute to significantly enhancing the EPC rating of a vast range of properties across Adra’s portfolio. The expenditure of the funding was allocated towards 74 homes across four schemes within Adra’s portfolio. Covering Criccieth, Dyffryn Ardudwy, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Penrhyndeudraeth.

All electric heating, hot water, thermal storage, solar PV and cylinders project

A thermal and mechanical retrofit and improvements to existing 1970’s block of 23 flats. The building is a traditional brick block cavity wall construction.

A pioneering housing project located in Penyrheol, Swansea that commenced work in April 2021.  Comprising 144 new build homes, the project is set to complete in February 2026.

This project involved the installation of Intelligent Energy Systems and Solar PV systems with battery storage to 60 properties across 16 local authority areas.

This project included the upgrade of 28 ground floor / first floor flats along with 1 single dwelling house

54 properties in Rhyl had retrofit measures including EWI, PV and batteries following the completion of works in Meliden from ORP 1
