Webinar recorded on 14 January 2026.

Join the Welsh Zero Carbon Hwb for an online event exploring how collaboration with residents – during design stage, handover and occupation – can help social housing providers deliver low carbon homes which are energy efficient and comfortable for tenants from day one.

This session will feature:

  • Pioneering co-design learnings from the Transforming Homes project, which includes the low carbon retrofit of 1920s social housing on the Town Hill estate in Swansea.
  • TPAS Cymru sharing how tenant engagement supports net zero delivery, drawing on what tenants have shared about their lived experience of homes and energy, and what needs to be in place for net zero to succeed at scale.
  • Insights from Max Fordham, a member of the GHA’s Building Performance Network, who are leading the way on developing common and accessible approaches to Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE).

Speakers:

  • Laura Broderick, Programme Director, Good Homes Alliance
  • Laura Brain and Joel Cady, Research Associates at Cardiff University
  • Akshita Lakhiwal, Net Zero Engagement Officer, TPAS Cymru
  • Tom McNeil, Principal & Partner at Max Fordham

Who should watch:
Housing associations, local authorities, designers, consultants, and anyone involved in delivering sustainable, low carbon homes.
