Flexible Skills Prgramme - Welsh Government
Flexible Skills Programme (FSP). Aimed at Employers, it provides 50% funding to support a range of courses under ‘funded topics’ to help businesses and their workforce adapt to business practices that better meet our net zero targets. For example, energy management, suitability measures, circular economy and waste principles etc. Funded Topics include; • Renewable Energy, and Heat Generation, including Energy Efficiency and Management • Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) • Fuel switching (away from natural gas and/or other unabated fossil fuels • Circular Economy, Sustainable Materials and Waste • Electric Mobility and Transportation • Agriculture, Forestry, Timber and Land Use • Decarbonisation plans and carbon accounting • Construction and Retrofitting of Residential Buildings • Leadership and Management

Personal & Green Learning Accounts - Welsh Government
Personal Learning Accounts (PLAs) is one of our main upskilling routes. Aimed at individuals who are looking to upskill or retrain to help them progress in their careers. The offer is very broad and is delivered via our network of Further Education Colleges in Wales Rewrite your career with a Personal Learning Account | Working Wales (gov.wales); that link provides all the information available to apply or you could go directly to your local college for further information. Our Green Personal Learning Account pilot as launched in the Autumn of 2022, to specifically pilot a new approach to delivering targeted support for skills that are needed now to directly drive the skills needed to support our journey to Net Zero. Applicable sectors are; Construction, Energy and Engineering / Manufacturing and there is no wage cap limit with this element.
